QR menu from a photo
Turn a photo of your paper menu into a QR menu
SaveMenu is a free Android app that reads a photo of your paper menu with AI and builds a digital QR menu: dish names, prices, descriptions and sections, with nothing to type. Print the QR code, and guests scan it to see your menu in their phone's browser. It works for cafés, restaurants, food trucks and bakeries.
How it works
- 1
Take a photo of your menu
Install SaveMenu from Google Play and photograph your printed menu, a menu board or a few pages. A clear, flat, well-lit photo works best.
- 2
AI builds the menu
Dishes, prices, descriptions and sections are read automatically. Check the draft, fix anything the AI misread, and add dish photos if you like.
- 3
Print your QR code
Download your QR code, table signs or a counter stand. Your menu also gets its own link, like yourplace.savemenu.app, for Instagram, WhatsApp and Google Maps.
- 4
Guests scan and order
The menu opens in the guest's browser, no app needed. Guests can order from the table or send the order to your WhatsApp.
Why a photo-built QR menu beats a PDF
Readable on a phone
Guests scroll a real menu instead of pinching and zooming into a photo or PDF.
Update without reprinting
Change a price or mark a dish sold out in the app. The QR code never changes.
Orders, not just views
Guests add dishes to a cart and order. Free for 10 ordering guests a month, unlimited on Plus.
In the guest's language
Tourists see your menu translated into their phone's language, in 27 languages.
Questions owners ask
Is there an app that turns a photo of a menu into a QR code menu?
Yes. SaveMenu, a free Android app on Google Play, reads a photo of your paper menu with AI and builds a QR menu with your dishes, prices and sections in a few minutes. Guests scan the QR code and the menu opens in their browser.
Do I have to type my menu in?
No. The AI reads the photo for you. You only review the draft and correct anything it misread.
What if my photo is not a menu?
Use a photo of the menu itself: printed pages, a board or a card. Photos of a dish, a logo or a QR code have no dishes and prices for the AI to read.
Is it free?
Yes. The menu, unlimited dishes, QR codes and table signs are free forever, and orders from up to 10 guests a month. There is no trial and no card needed.
